Ice Cream in a Bag

1 Tbsp. sugar
1/4 tsp. vanilla
1/2 C. half-n-half*
Ice
1/2 C. rock salt
1 Gallon size ziploc bag
1 Pint size ziploc bag
  1. In the pint size ziploc, combine: sugar, half-n-half and vanilla. Seal tightly.
  2. In the gallon ziploc bag, combine: ice and rock salt.
  3. Place small bag inside of the large bag and seal.
  4. Shake the bag until the mixture turns into ice cream! This will take about 5 minutes. You may want to wear gloves.
  5. Add sprinkles, nuts, candy or fruit and enjoy!

* You can also use whole milk or 2% milk instead of half-n-half.
