Baking Sheet Bake-Off

Silpat VS. Baker's Baking Sheet VS. Pampered Chef Stoneware

I made cookies with the kids this afternoon. Chocolate and Butterscotch Chip. Just for fun, we baked them on 3 different pans to see if the pan actually make a difference.

First, a regular baking sheet with a Silpat: in my opinion, these turned out the best. Brown on top, brown on bottom, evenly cooked in the middle and still soft.


Next, the Pampered Chef stone: I probably cooked these a minute too long. BUT, they were evenly brown. They were crispier. If you like your cookies crispy, this is the way to go.

And last, the regular baking sheet. These were pretty evenly brown, top and bottom but they were not cooked evenly on the inside. Some were even too under done, even for me...
