Toffee Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients

2/3 Cup unsalted butter, softened
3/4 Cup brown sugar
1/4 Cup granulated sugar
1 egg
1 Tsp. Vanilla
1 2/3 Cups All purpose flour
1/2 Tsp. Baking soda
1/2 Tsp. Salt
1/2 Cup Toffee bits
1/2 Cup semi sweet chocolate chips

Method to the Madness

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
2. In a large bowl, beat butter with both sugars until fluffy; beat in egg and vanilla
3. Stir together flour, baking soda and salt; stir into butter mixture until combined.
4. Toss in toffee bits and chocolate chips.
5. Drop by rounded teaspoon onto parchment paper lined baking sheets.
6. Bake in oven until golden about 9 minutes so they stay soft and chewy.

Let cool on pan and then transfer to cooling rack.
